Our Vision

With hard work and creative innovation, we hope to become the world's leading brand in the business of sustainable fashion.

Our Sustainability Initiative

We have eliminated single use plastic

Cotton Isle has completely prohibited the use of non-recyclable plastics in our operations. The fashion industry is the world's second largest contributor to plastic pollution, which harms our marine friends and fuels the global warming fire (Ouch!). But don't worry, you can help. From our store to your door, you can rest assured knowing your purchase doesn't add to this problem.

Oh, the poly-mailer shipping bags are 100% recyclable but they do require special attention, so listen up!

Most grocery stores that offer to recycle shopping bags will take your poly-pals too! To find the drop-off locations nearest you, check https://www.plasticfilmrecycling.org/ and enter your zip code.

We have limited inventory

Surprisingly, around 85% of textiles disposed in the U.S. are dumped into landfills or burned -- including unused textiles and unsold clothes. A large percentage of this problem derives from mass production by manufacturers and overstock by retailers. To combat this, Cotton Isle uses a 'limited inventory' system. This means that a  small supply (less than 200 items) is kept on hand and we only restock when items are completely sold out. Additionally, we release new collections just 4 times a year. The result? No excessive production or overstocked inventory. Fast fashion could never!

Our products are created using mostly natural materials

Take a look at the Cotton Isle care label on your purchased item when you receive it. If you notice, you will see more than 70% of natural ingredients (such as cotton) is used to make our merchandise. Synthetic materials such as polyester and nylon are made from crude oil, which makes them difficult to decompose or recycle. This is the main reason we use less synthetic fibers in all of our products. We are also actively working to increase the percentage of eco-friendly materials in our ingredients every year so that our products can eventually be 100% recyclable and compostable.

Now, Is that crude oil in your pocket? Or are you just happy to shop with us?
